Dr. Paul Fagan

Dr Paul Fagan is a highly skilled New Zealand trained surgeon with expertise in General, Laparoscopic, and Endoscopic procedures. He has a special interest in Hernia Repair, Colorectal Surgery, Endoscopy, Gallbladder Surgery and Skin Cancer Surgery. After completing his Australasian Surgical Fellowship (FRACS), Paul dedicated an additional two years to further his clinical skills through higher training in minimally invasive surgery techniques.

Qualifications:

  • BHB - Bachelor of Human Biology (University of Auckland)

  • MBChB - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (University of Auckland)

  • ChM - Master of Surgery in General Surgery with Distinction (University of Edinburgh)

  • FRACS (Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons)

Bay of Plenty

Dr Fagan is a Surgical Consultant at Health New Zealand Te Whatu ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. He also works at the East Bay Specialist Centre in Whakatane, the MacMurray Centre and Grace Hospital in Tauranga. Recently, he has returned with his family to live and work in the Bay of Plenty.
